AERO FOIL INTERNATIONAL, INC. (AFI) was founded in April of 2004 to provide tooling to foundries and machine shops in both the Aerospace and Industrial Gas Turbine (IGT) industries. Starting in a small 8,000 square foot shop and only a handful of employees, AFI has always been committed to making high-quality product in a timely matter. This commitment brought about rapid growth and by January of 2007, we bought a larger 30,000 square foot building and moved to our current location.

Located in Muskegon, Michigan, AFI now employs 14 experienced design engineers and journeyman toolmakers. With over 250 years of combined experience in the design and build of turbine airfoil wax injection dies, ceramic core dies, fixtures, and gauges, we have the knowledge and skill to ensure our commitment to quality is met. While we specialize in the design and build of gauges for Aerospace and IGT turbine engine high- and low-pressure components, we also work with automotive part suppliers here in Michigan, providing them with the quality tooling and machining they need.

In an effort to provide a one-stop shop machining source for turbine engine component manufacturers, AFI is now proud to offer the following services: we provide multi-axis CNC EDM, CNC milling, CBN grinding, and CNC EDM speed hole drilling machining for Aerospace and IGT castings. This includes a variety of services from simple gate removal to full airfoil machining, welding, and fabrication of engine-ready airfoils. We also provide the tooling and gauging needed for these components:  manufacturing wax dies, core dies, electronic gauges, standard gauges, and fixtures. In addition to these services, we have a certified manual and DCC CMM in house to ensure the highest standard of quality is maintained in the machining work and tooling that we provide to our customers.
